Cars&More — the UK marketplace for cars, parts and tools

Cars&More is a United Kingdom marketplace where private sellers, enthusiasts and independent dealers buy and sell cars, project vehicles, spare parts, accessories and workshop tools. Listing is free, listings go live straight away, and every advert can be browsed by anyone without an account. Whether you are selling a daily runabout, a half-finished restoration, a set of alloy wheels or a garage full of tools you no longer need, you can put it in front of buyers across the country in a couple of minutes.

Buy cars and project vehicles

Browse classic cars, modern used cars, convertibles, hot hatches, estates, 4x4s, vans and unfinished project vehicles from sellers all over the United Kingdom. Each advert shows the year, mileage, fuel type, transmission, drivetrain, engine size, number of previous owners and the seller's general location, alongside a full photo gallery. Sellers can mark a car as running, non-running, a restoration project or being broken for parts, so you know exactly what you are looking at before you travel to see it.

Search the way you want

Use the search bar for a quick look, or open advanced search to filter by make, model, price range, year, mileage, fuel type, transmission, drivetrain, body style, condition and distance from your postcode. Results can be sorted by newest listing, lowest price, highest price or closest to you. You can also switch to the map view to see what is for sale in your region, which is useful when you would rather collect in person than arrange transport.

Find parts, spares and tools

Parts are one of the hardest things to track down when you are keeping an older or less common car on the road. Cars&More lists body panels, interior trim, wheels and tyres, engines and gearboxes, electrical components, service items and full breaking projects, along with the tools to fit them: trolley jacks, axle stands, diagnostic gear, welders, compressors, spray equipment and hand tools. Sellers can add a part number or identification code to a listing, so searching for that exact reference brings up matching items.

Shorthand searches welcome

Enthusiasts rarely type a full model name. Sellers can add their own keywords and shorthand to a listing, so common abbreviations still find the right car or part. Searches are forgiving about spacing, punctuation and number words, which means you land on relevant results even when the seller wrote the model name a little differently to you.

Selling on Cars&More

Creating an advert is free. Add your photos, set the price and currency, describe the item honestly, choose your location and publish. Photos can be reordered so your best shot becomes the cover image, and every photo carries a small Cars&More watermark. Buyers contact you through the built-in messaging system, so your phone number and email address are never published. You will be emailed when a new message arrives, and you can reply from any device.

Keeping listings fresh

Adverts stay live for 45 days and can be refreshed to move them back up the listings. If you want extra visibility, a listing can be boosted for 24 hours so it appears higher in browsing and search results, and you will receive a short report showing the extra views and saves the boost brought in. When the item sells, mark it as sold in one tap; sold adverts stay visible in the Sold section as a useful guide to what things are actually selling for.

Buying and selling safely

Most sales on Cars&More are arranged directly between two people, usually with collection in person. View the item before you pay, check the paperwork on a vehicle, and use a traceable payment method rather than cash where you can. Our buyer safety and seller guidance pages explain the checks worth making, how to spot a listing that does not add up, and how to report anything suspicious to our team. Community guidelines set out what may and may not be advertised.

Local first

Set your location once and Cars&More shows what is for sale nearby, within a search radius you control. Approximate distances and outward postcodes are shown publicly rather than exact addresses, so you can judge the journey without either side giving away where they live. Trending shows what other people have been viewing and saving in the last 24 hours, Nearby ranks by distance from you, and Sold shows recent completed sales.
